Elizabeth Cambron, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late James Edward McNear and Mattie Ellen Wade McNear, was born on June 10, 1939 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Elizabeth professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers, spending time with family and friends, going to the Goodwill shopping, and her church family, and she loved to laugh.
She united in marriage to Charles Cleveland Cambron, and he preceded her in death in 1977.

1 son: Charles Cambron of Shepherdsville
4 grandchildren: Shannon McDonald (Greg), Travis Barnett, Chris Raley (Nate), and Amanda Raley (Kristen)
2 great-grandchildren: Jasmine McDonald (Anthony) and Dalton McDonald (Gabbi)
4 great-great grandchildren: Bristol McDonald, Pyper Anderson, Zeyda Anderson, and Landon McDonald
1 brother: James McNear of Lebanon
1 sister: Betty Hayden of Campbellsville
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by five children: Anita Louise Raley, Deborah Ann Cambron, Marilyn Diane Cambron, Tina Marie Cambron, and Jacklyn Ann Cambron and by three brothers and two sisters: Raymond McNear, Bernice Mays, Clarence McNear, Shirley Benningfield, and Margaret Hayden.
Funeral Service: Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10:00amET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Larry Rhodes officiating
Burial: Lebanon National Cemetery
Visitation: Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Jimmy, Scott, Todd, Wayne, Anthony, and Dalton
