Donna Barnett Farmer, 77, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Louisville, KY after losing her battle with liver cancer. She was born November 9, 1946 near Yuma in Taylor County, KY, the daughter of the late Edward “Bear” Barnett and Geneva Peters Barnett.
Donna was a member of the Point Pleasant Baptist Church, a member of the Jane Lampton Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Society of Boonesborough. She was a descendant of the Daniel Boone family. Donna retired from the Cabinet of Family and Children as an Eligibility Caseworker. She also worked many years for the Hansford Auction Co. as a clerk and cashier. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother, and she loved genealogy and had worked very hard to trace her family roots.

4 grandchildren
1 sister: Shirley Bright of Campbellsville
1 brother: Ralph Barnett of Russell Springs, KY
