Dorothy Ann Jones, 84, of the Mell community of Metcalfe County, KY and formerly of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late William D. Franke and Dorothy M. Watts Coleman, was born on December 22, 1939 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and departed this life on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and attended Fry Baptist Church. She was a veteran having served in the United States Army as a WAC Medic, a retired C.N.A., a member of the D.A.V., Red Hat Society, volunteer at Taylor Regional Hospital and former volunteer for Hosparus.

She united in marriage to Kenneth R. Jones, Sr. on June 4, 1960 in Ft. Dix, New Jersey, who preceded her in death on August 16, 2002.

1 son: Kenneth R. Jones, Jr. of Campbellsville

1 daughter & son-in-law: Deanna L. & Kenneth Jolly of Edmonton

8 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren

A host of other relatives & friends

Ms. Jones was also preceded in death by a brother and sister: David William Franke and Ester Mae Dickman.

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: After 9:00amCT on Wednesday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
