Lanny Morgeson, 72, son of the late Goebel Randall Morgeson and Virginia Mae Knopp Morgeson, was born on August 15, 1952 in Marion County, KY and died at 5:48amET on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Campbellsville. 

Lanny professed faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Lanny was a retired employee of Hendrickson Truck Axle in Lebanon and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He loved camping, fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends. Lanny was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He united in marriage to Juanita Jo Morgeson and later united in marriage to Shelia Marcum on April 22, 2000.

His wife of 24 years: Shelia (Marcum) Morgeson of Campbellsville 

2 sons: Joe Morgeson & wife Tammy of Berea and Rodney Morgeson & wife Misty of Greensburg

1 daughter: Daphni Price & husband Jeremy of Georgetown

6 grandchildren: Chelsey Morgeson & wife Courtney of Chicago, Illinois, Cameron Morgeson, and Madison Morgeson & significant other Dakota Milby of Summersville, Zachary Morgeson of Berea, and Olivia Price and Corbin Price of Georgetown

3 great-grandchildren: Indi Rose Milby, Bodi Cardale Milby and Cleo Morgeson

1 brother: Jimmy Morgeson & wife Carolyn of Lebanon
