Laura Bell Lawson, 97, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Jethro C. Glenn and Ida Bacon Glenn, was born in Campbellsville on January 30, 1927 and departed this life on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Green River Trails Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY.
Laura professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and fishing.

3 children: J.C. Lawson (Peggy), Wanda Causey (Jack), and Marsha Estes, all of Campbellsville
5 grandchildren: Jennifer Bell (Robbie), DeAnna Cropper (Jeremy), Adam Lawson (Gretchen), Stephanie Gibson (Kenton), and Laura Waymon
17 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren
1 sister: Henrietta Oakes

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester “Red” Lawson; one grandchild, Erica Tiffany Lawson; and six siblings: Thomas Richard Glenn, Bobby Lee Glenn, Mary Lou Glenn, Dorothy Merideth, Edna Kilby, and Stella Martin.
Funeral Service: Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 12:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Jimmie Nelson and Jimmie Nelson, Jr. officiating
Burial: Brookside Cemetery
