Herbie Gene Gilpin, 65, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late James L. Gilpin and Frances Shofner Gilpin, was born in Campbellsville on October 2, 1959 and departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Center in Louisville, KY. 

He had been employed as a Convenience Store Clerk and enjoyed all sports, short walks, and socializing with his neighbors.

The family has chosen cremation and burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery. There will be no service.
