David Schoenberger, 88, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Donald Louis Schoenberger and Mary Waters Brown, was born January 4, 1936 in Los Angeles, California and departed this life on Friday, August 2, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
David united in marriage to Ms. Shirley Mae Heughins and they raised three children together. She preceded him in death. He later united in marriage to Ms. Clara Ellis-Durham in April 2014 where his family grew by many.
David served his country proudly in the United States Navy for 20 years and fought in the Vietnam War. David professed faith in Christ and attended St. Andrews Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Steve Schoenberger.
FUNERAL SERVICE: There will be a private graveside service at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY
