Judy Faye Calhoun Judd, 71, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Rollin Calhoun, Mildred Inez Reynolds Kelly & stepfather, Lilburn Glyn Kelly, was born July 15, 1953 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
Judy had lived in Green County all her life. She graduated from Green County High School and worked for Fruit of the Loom for 25 years until the company moved operations overseas. She then enrolled at Campbellsville University and received her bachelor’s degree in business and technology. Judy went on to work for Taylor Regional Hospital for 15½ years in a job she loved until retirement. During the 1990’s, she was a very active band booster for the Green County Band serving as Vice-President and President. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where she served as secretary for several years. Judy loved to cook for her large family until sickness required her to stop. Babysitting the grandchildren and watching them at ballgames, as much as she could, was a joy. Favorite hobbies were canning and reading. Her house dogs were always part of the family, not pets.
