Agnes Mann Rhodes, 99, Campbellsville, KY

 

Agnes Mann Rhodes, 99, daughter of the late Eddie B. Mann and Chloe Alma Stayton Mann, was born on May 6, 1925 in Mannsville, KY. She died at 5:15 P.M., Monday, June 17, 2024 in Campbellsville.

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of Mannsville Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 20 years. Agnes was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for 12 years and a homemaker.

 

She united in marriage to L.B. Rhodes September 6, 1941 and he preceded her in death February 25, 1967. 

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Dean Rhodes & wife Sherri of Campbellsville

1 daughter: Judy Keltner & husband Winston of Columbia

Daughter-in-law: Sheila Moomaw & husband Scott of Shepherdsville

2 sons-in-law: Robert Underwood and Fred Witham & wife Brenda of Campbellsville

10 grandchildren: Byron Lewis Witham & husband Sam Henderson, John Layne Witham & wife Kelli, Jason Lee Underwood & wife Tiffany, Laura Ann James & husband Kenny, Larry Bradley Rhodes, Deborah Denise Yocom, Nathan Dean Rhodes & wife Elisha, Nicholas Landon Rhodes & wife Jill, Jared Lee Keltner & wife Amanda, and Megan Renee Staten & husband Mike

21 great-grandchildren

Agnes was also preceded in death by two sons and three daughters: Larry Rhodes, Evelyn Rhodes, Doris Witham, Ann Underwood and Bobby Joe Rhodes in infancy and four brothers and one sister: Henry W. Mann, Dr. Wanless Ray Mann, John B “Johnnie B” Mann, James Barron Mann and Lelah Mann. 

 

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 1:00pmET at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. John Hall and Rev. Lanny Garner 

 

BURIAL: Mann Cemetery in Mannsville, KY

 

VISITATION: After 10:00amET on Thursday

 

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
