Herman Rondal Rose, 71, of Greensburg, KY was born in Goody, KY. on May 16, 1953 to the late Heston Bud Rose, Mary Ellen Rose and Susie Farley Meade. He departed this life on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at his residence.

Herman was a retired coal miner, member of the UMWA, and a Native American Cherokee Indian.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Adam Rose; four brothers: Elbert Heston Rose, George Robert Rose, Wayne Meade, and Joseph Meade; and one sister, Nyoka Stanley Baker.
