Eugene Stanley Mosz, 92, currently of Campbellsville, KY was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 1, 1932 to the late Stanley and Mary Durlak Mosz. He departed this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Mosz had made a profession of faith and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. He was a Sergeant and served in the Korean War receiving the Korean Service Ribbon, three Bronze Service Stars, the United Nations Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Mosz was an active member of the American Legion Rod Lowe Post 124 of Greensburg. He was employed with General Foods as a Maintenance Mechanic until his retirement. He loved music and dancing and was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bird watching with an extra interest in purple martins.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pinkie “Dimples” Ora Bagby, whom he wed on June 4, 1955.

3 grandchildren: Kimberlee Hmurovic, Nicholas Mosz, and Samantha Krylowicz
4 great-grandchildren: Zosia, Athena, Amelia and Aurora
Funeral Service: Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 1:00pmCT at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY
Burial: Greasy Creek Cemetery in Green County with Military Honors
Visitation: Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pmCT and Sunday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Alzheimer’s Association and those can be made at the funeral home.
