Marie Prater, 78, of Greensburg, KY, the daughter of Jennie Metcalfe Rigdon of Alabama and the late Lee Roy Rigdon, was born on January 28, 1946 in Hardin County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Green Hill Nursing and Rehab.

She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Her mother: Jennie Metcalfe Rigdon of Alabama

5 children: Greg Rigdon (Peggy) of Campbellsville, Lisa Puckett of Sonora, Roy Tanner (Lydia) of Rineyville, Billy Prater and Wayne Prater both of Alabama

A host of grandchildren & great-grandchildren

2 brothers: Elmer Rigdon (Brenda) of Buffalo and Carroll Lee Rigdon (Vicki) of Elizabethtown

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two children: Michael Richards and Connie Rigdon, a sister, Diane Howell, and a brother, Charles Edward “Eddie” Rigdon.

Visitation: Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11:30am-1:00pmET at the funeral home
