Coleman

 

Coleman “Bud” Williams Jr., 61, was born in Taylor County, KY on April 18, 1963 to the late Coleman Williams Sr. and Mary Nell Groves Williams (who survives). He departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

 

Bud had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He worked in construction for Scott-Murphy Construction and could do anything he set his mind to. He had a passion for operating heavy machinery and farming with his late father.

 

Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Jane Williams and an infant brother, Gary Williams.

His mother: Mary Nell Groves Williams

1 daughter: DaOnna (Jaboree) Hicks of Louisville, KY

1 sister & her husband: Aunita & Norbert Keith-Freeman of Montgomery, Alabama;

1 brother: Derrick Ferman of Georgia

2 grandchildren: DaDion and DeAngelo Hicks

Funeral Service: Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00pmCT at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Martin and Rev. Melvin Mills officiating

 

Burial: Anderson Groves Cemetery in Green County

 

Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Saturday at the funeral home.
