Marlis Gene Robinson Akin, 96, of Greensburg, KY,
daughter of the late Frances Eugene Robinson and Jessie Maud Clark Robinson, was born on March 15, 1928 in Hickory Plains, Arkansas and departed this life on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care.
Mrs. Akin had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Presbyterian Church. She worked as a nurse for over 45 years providing her care at multiple different hospitals.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen Wood Akin on November 4, 2009, having united in marriage on January 5, 1951 and by a son, Gary Wayne Akin.

1 sister: Ruth Williams of Arkansas
1 brother: Kenneth Robinson of Arkansas

Funeral Service: Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Adam Scott officiating
Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens
Visitation: After 9:00amCT on Monday
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
