Frankie Gene Smith, 71, of the Summersville community of Green County, KY passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home. He was born in Louisville on July 23, 1952 to the late Emmett Smith and Marie (Burks) Felix.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a faithful and devoted member of Living Word Faith Center. Mr. Smith was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed everything outdoors, including hunting and fishing, but he loved motorsports. He especially enjoyed watching auto races, whether on TV or in person, and loved everything from dirt track races to NASCAR races.

2 sisters: Melonie Sherrard & husband Steve and Margaret Compton & husband Terry
7 grandchildren: David Smith & wife Tiffany, Brittany Smith, Brea Colvin & husband Casey, Blake Smith & fiancé Madison, Caylynn Smith, George Anderson & wife Ashley, and Jessica Anderson
