Wilbur Cox, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Elza Cox and Pauline Gribbins Cox, was born December 12, 1942 in Marion County, KY. He died at 9:40pmET on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Campbellsville.

Wilbur professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. He was one of the original legacy partners of Campbellsville Industries. Wilbur enjoyed golfing, riding trails on his four wheeler on his farm at Pikes Ridge with his grandchildren. He also loved hunting with his sons and grandchildren and always had fun spending time with them, as well as his beloved dog, Franklin.

6 grandchildren: Cody Ford & wife Rachel of Campbellsville, Tanner Ford & wife Haley of Sonora, Morgan Prevost & husband Bernard of Nashville, Mallory Cox of Elizabethtown, Jasmine Dowell of Campbellsville, and Beau Dowell of Lexington

2 step-great-granddaughters: Kenlee and Mila

1 brother & 2 sisters: Roger Cox & wife Janet of Taylorsville, Barbara Boggess of Louisville, and Shirley Lybrand & husband Larry of Mabank, Texas
