Boyce Simpson, 86, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Ogden and Margarette Wooldridge Simpson, was born on February 12, 1938 in Green County, KY. He departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church. Mr. Simpson retired from Ingersoll Rand, was an avid fisherman and a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. He truly loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

His wife of nearly 64 years: Judy Curry Simpson

2 daughters & sons-in-law: Carol & Barry Marr of Bowling Green and Kristy & Todd Davis of Grab

5 grandchildren: B.J. and Traci Marr, Derek Marr, Jessica and A.J. Wayne, Slade Davis and Clay Davis

7 great-grandchildren: Addison Marr, Lucas Marr, Max Marr, Dash Marr, Rip Marr, Cade Wayne and Briggs Wayne

2 sisters & a brother-in-law: Bernice James and Joyce & Leroy Patterson of Greensburg

Sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Sarah Curry of Louisville, James & Rita Curry of Greensburg, Lucretia Simpson of Campbellsville and Larry Curry of Tennessee

A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Stanley Simpson and Dennis Simpson.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with Barry Marr, Bro. Todd Davis and Bro. Todd Young officiating

Burial: Greasy Creek Cemetery

Visitation: Monday, March 25, 2024 from 3:00pm-8:00pmCT and Tuesday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles or to the Greensburg Baptist Church Youth Center, which can be made at the funeral home.
