Louise Mae Campbell, 96, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Roy W. Gabehart and Betty Jo Tucker Gabehart, was born on September 15, 1927 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her home.

Louise professed faith in Christ and was a faithful member of East Campbellsville Church of God. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and was retired from selling Avon after 28 years. She loved bowling, was known for her delicious homemade pies, and loved serving the Lord and the church.

She united in marriage to Leonard Earl Campbell who preceded her in death.

SURVIVORS:

3 grandchildren: Alison Maynard, Roger Maynard & companion Tina Daniels, and Byron “B.K.” Maynard & wife Martha Gail all of Campbellsville

1 great-granddaughter: Madison Grace Maynard

1 brother: Paul Gabehart.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law: Ann Campbell Maynard and George Maynard; and by seven brothers and sisters: Wanless Ray “Bug” Gabehart, Ruel Jack Gabehart, William Henry Gabehart, Mary Ellen Gabehart, Elmer Ray Gabehart, Samuel E. “Eugene” Gabehart, and Norma Jean Perkins.

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00amET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brad Epperson officiating 

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
