Garnett “Bud” Lanham, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Zachary Taylor Lanham and Maydrue Abner Sinclair, was born on September 27, 1943 and departed this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at his residence.

He was of the Baptist Faith and attended the Point Pleasant Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was previously employed as a meat cutter for various supermarkets. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting coins, and spending time with his family. He was a Mason and member of the Pitman Lodge #124.

2 sons: Mark Lanham & companion Elaine of Bradfordsville and Shawn Lanham & wife Jessica of Campbellsville

6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, & one expectant great-grandchild

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters: Eva, Doris, Zackie, Elmer, James, and Shirlee, and his Step-dad, Fred Abner.

Funeral Service: Friday, March 22, 2024 at 5:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville with cremation to follow. Bro. Jim Collison will officiate. 
 

Masonic Services will be performed and Full Military honors will be awarded by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation: Friday, March 22, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. until the time for the service at the funeral home
