Eugene Anderson, 79, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Martin V. Anderson and Margie Garrett Anderson, was born on April 26, 1944 in Letcher, KY and departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2024 at his home. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Christian Church.

His wife of 59 years: Mary Ann Matney Anderson of Greensburg

1 son & daughter-in-law: Clinton Keith Anderson & wife Josie of Mooresville, Indiana

1 daughter: Regina Anderson of Greensburg

3 grandchildren: Felicia Hill (Butch), Brandi Anderson

Her 7 fur babies: Joey Anderson (Allie); four great-grandchildren: Aquista Devine (Dameon), Brayson Cox, Katon Cox, Brooklyn Hill

3 sisters: Nadine Nibert, Betty Gross, and Lena Cobb

1 brother: Matthew Anderson

Sister-in-law: Shirley Walls (Danny)

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters: Kenneth Anderson, Paul Dean Anderson, Martin “Sonny” Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Imogene Bullion, Edna Austin, Leroy Anderson, Emily Anderson, and Peggy Madden.

Honoring the families wishes, cremation was chosen. 

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the funeral home.
