Joseph Rader Murphy, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late John Murphy and Ruby Daugherty Murphy, was born on April 23, 1942 and departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. 

Joseph was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired employee of General Electric. He enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, and hanging out with friends on their farms. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He united in marriage to Phyllis Faye McQueary Murphy and she preceded him in death on December 22, 2023.

1 sister: Donna Murphy of Campbellsville

Special friends: Terry Walker and Dwayne Curry

Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers: James Murphy, Jerry Murphy, and Roger Murphy.

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: After 11:00amET on Tuesday at the funeral home
