Clyde William Asbury, 65, of Louisville, KY, son of the late Osburn Gayle “OG” Asbury and Doris Jean Borders Asbury, was born on October 11, 1958 in Louisville and departed this life on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Norton’s Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Asbury was a retired factory worker and enjoyed watching the University of Louisville Cardinals.

1 brother & sister-in-law: Johnnie Lee & Lisa Asbury of Campbellsville;

3 sisters & a brother-in-law: Mary Jean Belcher of Brooks, Sarah Louise & Mark Beard of Hillview, and Joann Crain of Louisville

A host of other relatives & friends

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Robert Asbury.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 2:00pmCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg 

Burial: Kidd Cemetery in Green County

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Wednesday at the funeral home

Pallbearers: Bailee Asbury, Rex Asbury, Mark Beard, Jr., Robert Cook and Jerritt Glass
