Charlene Turner Harmon Stickel, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late William Turner and Ruth Bowen Turner, was born December 22, 1936 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 8:05 A.M., Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Campbellsville.
Charlene professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Methodist Church in Campbellsville. She was a compassionate, private caregiver for many people over the years. Charlene loved having an animal companion and was always leaving food out for the stray cats in the neighborhood.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands: Donald Harmon and Edward Ray Stickel; one son, Eddie Stickel; and two sisters: Shirley Ann Hardin and Jewel Dean Ford Sexton.
SURVIVORS:
3 daughters: Madonna (Greg) Chick, Jan (Frank) Farmer, and Marie (John) Coots of Campbellsville
1 son: David Harmon Ames of Brandenburg
6 grandchildren: Logan Andrew Stickel, Magan Grubbs, Manessa Burris, Colt Burris, Daniel Gaddis II and Chad Gaddis
5 step-grandchildren: Matt Chick, Jimmy Chick, Shannon Coots, Melissa Recalde and Aleaha Bright
3 great-grandchildren
4 nephews: Tony Ford, Tim Ford, Trent Ford and Lee Turner Hardin
