Russell Colvin, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Ezra Colvin and Esther Colvin, was born October 11, 1938 in Taylor County, KY. He died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. Russell served his country honorably in the United States Army. He retired from Houchens in 2003 after spending more than 40 years in the Grocery Industry. Outside of spending time with his family, Russell enjoyed spending time with friends on the golf course. After retirement he became an avid golfer.

1 son: Jason Colvin of New Orleans, Louisiana

4 grandchildren: Logan Pillow & wife Isis, Skylar Dowies, Reese Colvin and Brody Colvin

1 brother & 2 sisters: Richard “Shorty” Colvin, Geraldine Bennett & husband Ron and Margaret Parrott of Campbellsville
