Sapatu Ala, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Ala Ala and Aitulagi Tuilefano Ala, was born July 30, 1943 in Malaeloa, Tutuila, American Samoa and departed this life on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at his residence.

He loved cars and playing cricket, and owed his own Samoan softball and cricket teams in San Francisco, CA. He was also a great swimmer.

Survivors: Antonina Suapaia Ala, Cynthia Ala, Arabellah Wolfgramm, and Sapatu Lavulo.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters: Va’ I Ala, Falagai Frank Ala, Meafatu Ala, Nifo Ala, Faia Ala, and Akuso Ala.

There will be a private visitation with burial immediately following in the Brookside Cemetery on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
