Phillip James Barker, 71, of Campbellsville, KY passed from this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville following an extended illness. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 5, 1953, a son of the late Henry and Mary Eileen (Moore) Barker.

Phillip was of the Catholic faith and a former factory worker. He will long be remembered as a family man, always caring for his kids and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia (Kozak) Barker; a son, Brian Harvey; and three siblings: Peggy Hunt, Jean Shimek and Michael Barker.

At the request of Mr. Barker, cremation will be accorded him by L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. There will be no public visitation.
