Shane Lee Lovins, 52, was born May 15, 1971 in Martinsville, IN to Belinda Simpson and the late Dane Hornaday. He departed this life on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at his home in Greensburg, KY.

Shane was a member of Mt. Lebanon Church. He was a manager at Maialina Italian Kitchen in Indianapolis, IN for many years in which he was depended on by his boss and all staff to keep things running smoothly. Shane had a vibrant personality that everyone loved. He was a Green County Marching Dragon trumpet player and played the piano in church years ago.

Besides his father, Shane was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Louis and Naomi Lovins, paternal grandparents: Delbert and Wanda Hornaday, step-grandmother, Marilyn Simpson, stepfather, Danny Simpson, brother-in-law, Jason Propes, and several aunts and uncles.

Memorial service: Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00pmCT at Mt Lebanon United Methodist Church, 100 Mt Lebanon Church Road, Greensburg, KY with Bro. Wilburn Bonta officiating
 

Visitation: After 12 NoonCT on Saturday at the church

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg for funeral expenses. These can be made at the funeral home or at the church.
