Virginia Odell Bell, 102, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late William E. Durrett and Pearl Morris Durrett, was born on October 11, 1921 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, January 29, 2024.
Virginia had made a profession of faith in Christ, was the oldest member of Brush Creek Baptist Church where she had also been a Sunday School teacher. She was a retired school teacher for the Green County School System, a homemaker and caregiver.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Elbert Truman Bell on June 19, 2002 having united in marriage on April 19, 1941 and two children: Rebecca Jane Bell Milby and William Lee Bell.

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Casey Durrett officiating
Burial: Wilson Cemetery
Visitation: Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Thursday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home
