Era Nunn VanArsdale, 89, of Greensburg, KY, a daughter of the late Granville Hugh Nunn and Cora Lillian Jewell Nunn, was born October 15, 1934 in Metcalfe County, KY and departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2024 at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY. 

Era had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was a former federal employee at Fort Knox, and a 35-year retired case worker for the Social Security Office. Era loved to read and loved quilts.

Her husband of 67 years: Robert VanArsdale of Greensburg

1 son & daughter-in-law: Jeff & Annette VanArsdale of Greensburg

1 grandson: Seth VanArsdale & wife Rebecca of Greensburg

2 step-grandchildren: Adam Bryant & wife Megan and Amy Bryant, both of Tennessee

9 great-grandchildren: Hailey, Isabella, Annie, Chase, Kylee, Jacob, Ava, Collin, and Casen

A host of other relatives & friends

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.

Burial: Greasy Creek Cemetery
