George Stanley Parker, Jr., 80, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late George Stanley Parker, Sr. and Jeanette Bertha Koger Parker, was born June 10, 1943 in Council Bluffs, IA and departed this life on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg.
Mr. Parker was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Campbellsville, He was a retired custodian for Taylor Co. Schools, and a former truck driver and towboat operator. He loved fishing, hunting, shooting guns, and spending time with grandkids and family.

6 children: Jennifer Clements (Timmy) of Campbellsville, Jeanna Manzitto (Tony) of Iowa, Jaron Parker (Sam) of Nebraska, Michael Smith of Monticello, Diana Smith and Timothy Williams both of Campbellsville
16 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren
2 brothers: Dave Parker (Susie) and Steve Parker (Marie) both of Iowa.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters: Jodie Parker and Jill Renee Swartz and one brother, Tom Parker.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 6:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation to follow
Visitation: After 4:00pmET on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 until the time of the service
Memorials are suggested to be donations to the funeral expense fund and can be made at the funeral home.
