Thelma Grimes, 90, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Everett Sprowles and Rhea Beard Sprowles, was born November 5, 1933 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 4:18 P.M. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Campbellsville.

Thelma professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a homemaker. 
 

She united in marriage to Woodrow Grimes September 5, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2006.

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters: Cindy Crain & husband Joe of Gainesville, Georgia and Patricia Veatch of Campbellsville

3 grandchildren: Dalton Robertson of Gainesville, Georgia, Troy Veatch of Campbellsville and Travis Veatch & wife Jenny of White House, Tennessee

2 great-grandchildren

Thelma was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Dencil Sprowles, Herman Keith Sprowles, James Sprowles, Mattie Durham and Arvella Kearnes.
