Hugh William Bloyd, 83, of Louisville, KY passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023. He was born in Green County, KY to the late Rollin Bloyd and Sylvia Cross on September 18, 1940.

Hugh was a Heavy Machine Operator and a member of Local 181. He also attended Cornerstone Worship Center and was an avid hunter.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Austin Bloyd.

His wife of 60 years: Arlene Bloyd

4 children: Karen Warf (Dale), Michael McMillan (Sherry), Hugh Bloyd Jr. (Jaime), and Cindy Peak (Christopher)

5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, & 1 great-great grandchild

2 brothers: Vernon “Duck” Bloyd (Louise) and David Lee Buley
