Betty Jo Merideth Phelps, 83, was born July 22, 1940 in Warren County, KY to the late Henry Meredith and Delfa Grimes Meredith. She departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Signature Healthcare in Horse Cave, KY.

Mrs. Phelps had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Iva Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: David Michael and Timothy Ray Phelps; One brother, Henry R. Meredith; one sister, Shirley Honeycutt; and two grandchildren: Barry W. and Marcus E. Phelps.

1 son & daughter-in-law: Barry & Mary Phelps of Cave City, KY

3 daughters & a son-in-law: Kathy L. Beckham, Teri A. Fulcher of Bowling Green, KY, and Velma & Kevin Cowles of Cave City, KY

Daughter-in-law: Betty Walkup Phelps of Auburn, KY

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00pmCT at The Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Horse Cave, KY with Bro. Bobby Neal and Bro. Johnny Deakins officiating

Burial: Lighthouse Full Gospel Church Cemetery

Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Saturday at the church

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to help with funeral expenses and these can be made at the church or at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home.
