Mary Alice Layer, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Chester and Nora (Vaughn) James, passed from this life on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was born in Hiseville, KY on September 21, 1945.
Mrs. Layer was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
SURVIVORS:
5 children: Jody Thomson & husband Randy, Eric Jessie, Aubry Jessie, Rhonda Henderson, and Wally Jessie
2 sisters: Leon Walkup and Joann Todd
12 grandchildren

The family chose cremation and all services were held privately.
