Shawn Patrick Joines, 50, of Louisville, KY (formerly of Casey County, KY), was born January 17, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Roxie (Singleton) Joines and departed this life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in Louisville.
He was a carpenter and was of the Baptist Faith. Shawn Pat, as he was commonly called, enjoyed football, especially fantasy football and basketball.

4 children: Ashley Spivey & husband Jerome, Andrew, Alex and Amber Joines
Brothers & sisters: Jeffrey Joines, Sharron Burnette, Saundra Joines and Steven Joines
4 grandchildren: Issac, Atticus, Lucas and Adalyn
2 step-grandchildren: Matthew and Sierra
A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends
Locally by aunts, uncles & cousins
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
Burial: Creston Cemetery in Casey County
L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville in charge of arrangements.
