Ray Hudgins, 80, Greensburg, KY

 
Ray Hudgins, 80, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Carl Edward Hudgins and Bernice Holt Hudgins, was born February 3, 1943 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, November 25, 2023 in Greensburg. 
 
Mr. Hudgins had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Navy, and was a concrete finisher for Lobbs Concrete.
 
SURVIVORS: 
2 sons & a daughter-in-law: Kevin Hudgins and Chris & Angie Hudgins, all of Green County 
5 grandchildren: Jaylin and Jarrod Mays, Colton and Katelyn Hudgins, Caileigh Hudgins, Tanlee Hudgins, and Chandler Hudgins 
5 great-grandchildren: Liam, Barret, Baiyler, Caidan, and Savannah
3 brothers & 2 sisters-in-law: Mitchell Hudgins of  Campbellsville, David & Susan Hudgins of Louisville, Timothy & Cynthia Hudgins of Campbellsville 
His companion: Judy Cook of Greensburg 
Special Friends: Steve & Julia Hartfield of Greensburg

Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY
 
Burial: Wilson Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Honor Guard
 
Visitation: Tuesday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott 
 
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Wilson Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
