Cloyce Coleman Abel, 92, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Elmer Abel and Freda Locke Abel was born July 1, 1931 in Salem, IA and departed this life on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Cloyce worked as a school teacher for many years. He taught business classes and driver’s education for most of that time.

His wife of 58 years: Carol Irene Runner Abel of Campbellsville
1 son: Cody C. Abel & wife Tammy of Campbellsville
Daughter-in-law: Julie Abel of Honey Creek, IA
3 grandchildren: Emily Krukowski & husband Paul of 29 Palms, CA; Angelo Masiello & wife Mary of Maysville, NC; and Alex Abel of Omaha, NE
1 great-granddaughter: June Masiello of Maysville, NC

A host of other relatives & friends
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Chad Abel and by one brother and two sisters: Clair Abel, Clarice Foster, and Beverly Houchin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville is in charge of arrangements.
