Nancy Sue Vance Milby, 80, of Summersville, KY, daughter of the late Vora Vance and Gertrude Larimore Vance, was born on January 2, 1943 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Green County.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Summersville Baptist Church. She was a housekeeper for Green Hill Nursing and Rehab and Taylor Regional Hospital.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Milby on January 6, 2001 having united in marriage on April 20, 1965.

1 daughter: Linda Milby of Greensburg

6 grandchildren: Kyle & Melissa Chase, Megan Nicole & Jason Shofner all of Summersville, Brittany & Chris Rice of Grab, Corey & Jonah Milby of Knifley, Eli Jeffries and Alexis Jeffries of Greensburg

8 great-grandchildren: Myles Chase, Valorie Chase, Lily Rice, Ellie Rice, Nolan Rice, Allis Rice, Grady Shofner, and Mariah Milby

2 sisters & brothers-in-law: Janie & Jimmey Kessler, Mary Lou Vance and Ken Howard, all of Greensburg

Ms. Milby was also preceded in death by a son: Joe Wayne “Torch” Milby; and one daughter: Karen Ann Milby Jeffries.

Burial: Wilson Cemetery
