Maxine Walker Wooley, 82, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Jerome Maxie Thorp and Rosalie (Lenore) Thorp, was born February 28, 1941 in Jefferson County, KY and departed this life on Monday, October 30, 2023 in Elizabethtown at Signature Healthcare.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Maxine was a member of the Garden Club and was a good Christian woman, mother and wife.

She united in marriage to David Wooley on July 14, 1957 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2007.

7 grandchildren & a host of great-grandchildren

Graveside Service: Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00pmET at Green River Memorial Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating.

There will be no public visitation prior to the service.

Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles.
