Lawrence Hamilton, 79, of Campbellsville, KY (formerly of Fedscreek), passed peacefully from this life on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home. He was born in Pike County on February 14, 2023 to the late Lawrence William and Flossie (Ramey) Hamilton.
He was a loving husband, a devoted father and a proud grandfather. (If you are a grandchild reading this, yes, you really are his favorite; Don’t tell the others). Mr. Hamilton spent the majority of his employment building locomotives for GM. He was a firm supporter of the working class, a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Hamilton, on April 19, 1993.

1 daughter: Kelly Dominguez & husband Israel
1 sister: Sharon Estlick & husband Charles
3 grandchildren: Rebecca Dominguez, Eric Dominguez, and Naomi Dominguez
3 great-grandchildren: Josiah, Tracy, and Damien
A host of other family members & friends, including all of his UAW brothers & sisters
The family chose cremation and services will be private.
