Laura Jean Cox, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Berry Cox and Christine Bottoms Cox, was born May 22, 1948 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her residence. 

She was a former employee of General Electric and enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

5 grandchildren: Jason Hayes, James Clements, Matthew Clements, Hannah Hayes, and Ethan Hayes

3 great-grandchildren: Griffin Hayes, Jacob Hayes, and Case Clements

1 sister: Mary Gray

A host of other relatives & friends

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Cox; one son, Dewayne Hayes; and five brothers and sisters: Earl Cox, Shelby Cox, Dannie Cox, Dorlene Cox Perkins, and Darrell Cox.

Mrs. Cox requested a direct burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery and there will be no services.
