Walter Lee Bell, 58, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Russell D. Bell and Cherry Knuckles Gore, was born June 24, 1965 in Hamilton, Ohio and departed this life on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Campbellsville.
Walter was of the Christian faith. He had been previously employed as an armored car attendant and also at McLane Distribution. Walter also faithfully served as a volunteer with the Campbellsville-Taylor County Rescue Squad for many years and loved his community. He was an avid U of L sports fan and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

2 grandchildren: Gaige Wethington and MaKenna Bell
7 brothers & sisters: Ronnie Bell, Kathy Slaughter, Marjorie Gore, Ricky Bell, Irvin Bell, Molly Bell, and Anthony Bell
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Sapp Bell; five brothers: Wendell Bell, Mack Odell Bell, and Duril Gene Bell; and a set of twin boys.
Funeral Service: Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Rd. Campbellsville, KY with Pastor William Hardin officiating
Burial: Brookside Cemetery
Visitation: After 11:00amET on Saturday at the funeral home
