Delbert Lee “Peanut” Dotson, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Jake Dotson and Bessie Martin Dotson, was born June 25, 1943 in Larue County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville.

Peanut was a farmer and had done construction and sawmill work. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, his dog Taco, and visiting with family and friends. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Floyd Dotson, Gibb, Dotson, Raymond Dotson, Odell Dotson, John Henry Dotson, Willie Arvin Dotson, and Walter Gene Dotson; one sister, Glenda Dennison; and a niece and nephew.

Funeral Service: Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Raymon Hollins officiating

Burial: Otter Creek Cemetery

Visitation: After 11:00amET on Saturday at the funeral home

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be in the form of donations to help with funeral expenses and can be made at the funeral home.
