Robert Keith Jeffries, 91, of Green County, KY, son of the late Mike Jeffries and Lee Beard Jeffries, was born August 27, 1932 and passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

Mr. Jeffries had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Houks Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a Korean War Veteran, having served in the United States Army and was a supervisor at Clark Casual for many years.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Regina Carol Judd Jeffries on February 28, 2022, having united in marriage on December 16, 1955.

SURVIVORS:

1 son & daughter-in-law: Phillip W & Alda Ree Jeffries;

1 grandchild & wife: Kevin & Kim Jeffries of Greensburg

6 great-grandchildren: Cager Jeffries, Nathan Arps, Collin Arps, Elizabeth Arps, River Arps, Maisilyn Arps all of Greensburg

Sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Wanda & Charles Thompson of Greensburg, Jeania Mae Miller of Campbellsville, and Pat Judd of Louisville

He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth Jeffries, Kurt Jeffries, and Lloyd Jeffries.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 10:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Pursley officiating

Burial: Liletown Cemetery
 

Visitation: Tuesday, October 3,2023 from 3:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday after 7:00amCT

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liletown Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
