Verna Eudora Neagle, 93, of Greensburg, KY was born December 1, 1929 in Green County, KY to the late Sam William “Jim” Akin and Novie Eunice Altman Akin. She departed this life, Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Verna made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was employed at Edmonton Manufacturing and loved to cook.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Rual Clifton Neagle on November 9, 2009 and by two sisters: Nancy Cowan and Zelmadean Nunn.  

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Roger Neagle and Rual Neagle & wife Janice, both of Greensburg

3 grandchildren: Belinda Gaines of Campbellsville, Terry Neagle of Greensburg, and Tonya Hansel & husband Ben of Pennsylvania

2 great grandchildren: John Rual Hansel of Pennsylvania and Lindsey Nicole Neagle of Burkesville

1 step great-grandchild: Benny Hansel & wife Sarah of Pennsylvania

Burial: Greensburg Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Sunday at the funeral home
