Zelma Lotter, 80, Campbellsville, KY

 

Zelma Lotter, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Huston Hoosier and Lottie Ellen Burress, was born August 9, 1943 in Adair County, Kentucky.  She died at 2:38 A.M., Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in Campbellsville.

 

Zelma professed faith in Christ and attended Truth Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. She was a retired housekeeper for Dr. James R. Angel’s family for 22 years. Zelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

 

She united in marriage to Bobby E. Lotter May 12, 1962 and he preceded her in death January 15, 2011.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 daughter: Robin Boils of Campbellsville

2 grandchildren: Michael Boils and Brittany Benford & husband Shawn of Greensburg

3 great-grandchildren: Harper Benford, Heidi Benford and Hayden Benford

2 sisters-in-Law: Mary Thompson and Betty Hoosier of Campbellsville

Brother & Sister-in-Law: Harold & JoAnn Lotter of Campbellsville

Many other relatives & friends

 

She was also preceded in death by a son, Mikel Eugene Lotter in infancy on September 8, 1964 and five brothers and five sisters:  Bradley Hoosier, Jack Hoosier, Coakley Hoosier, Willie Hoosier, Elmer Hoosier, Onia Mae Abell, Wilma Karnes, Velma Bailey, Nellie Goode and Hettie McDonald and another sister in infancy.
