Edith Belle Meadows Pickett, 89, of Greensburg, KY, a daughter of the late Porter Garland Meadows and Gracie Matney Meadows, was born October 5, 1933 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care Center.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel Church. She was a farmer, a homemaker, and was retired from being an inspector for the Fruit of Loom after 24 years.

She united in marriage to Kenneth Gordon Pickett on July 12, 1952, who preceded her in death on June 9, 1998.

3 sons & daughters-in-law: Dewayne & Sherry Pickett, Stephen Dale & Reta Pickett, Alan & Joyce Ann Pickett all of Greensburg

Grandchildren: Daniel & Christy Pickett, Ryan & Wendy Pickett, and Katie & Stuart Tucker all of Greensburg, KY; Chelsea & Jeff Coffey of Columbia, KY; Natasha & Jordan Imlay of Versailles, KY; Tara & Donald Trent of Edmonton, KY; and Jennifer & Jason Nevils of Indiana

Special cousin: Nadine McKinney

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends

Ms. Pickett was also preceded in death by a brother, Shelby Meadows.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Thursday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home
