Anna C. Payne, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Catherine (Miles) Bright, was born June 1, 1948 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Lexington at the UK Hospice of the Bluegrass.

She was a retired administrator at Telecom, formerly Bell South, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was of the Christian faith.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Payne, Sr., a son, Jason Eric Payne and a brother, Billy Bright.

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Travis Payne, Jr & wife Debbie

2 sisters: Mary Jane “Janie” Phillips and Fran Bright.

4 grandchildren: Tyler, Veronica and Colby Payne and Jaclyn Ellis

1 great-grandchild: Charlotte Ellis

Special friends: Patricia and Dennis Roy

Graveside Service: Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville with burial to follow.

There will be no visitation.
