David White, 93, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late John Henry White and Mary Lee Herron White, was born August 22, 1929 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 4:35 A.M. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Campbellsville. 

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Christie’s Chapel having recently attended God’s Grace Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. David was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. He was a family man who loved spending time farming, kayaking, golfing, riding horses, square dancing, watching Nascar and Indy Racing, riding motorcycles, and being active outdoors. 

He united in marriage to Betty May Feese White May 22, 1954 and she preceded him in death on January 24, 2022.      

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Steve White of Campbellsville and Holly Ditmore & husband Tim of Scottsville

1 daughter: Kelly White of Winterville, North Carolina

3 grandchildren: Preston White of Winterville, North Carolina, Stanton White & wife Morgan of Greensburg, and Kathrine Ditmore of Scottsville

2 great-grandchildren: Raelyn White and Chandler White

Several nieces & nephews

Many other relatives & friends

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Dan White and several other half-brothers and half-sisters.

BURIAL: Dunbar Family Cemetery in Knifley, KY with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard
