Lula Mae Bell, 97, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 8:20 A.M. in Campbellsville. She was born on October 16, 1925, a daughter of the late Ras and Lillian Ford Rainwater.

She united in marriage to Raymond Bell on April 29, 1944 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2009. She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Ernest, J.D., Gordon, and Kenneth Rainwater and three sisters: Madeline Cave, Helen Sharpe, and Rosaline Sprowles.

Lula professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church then attended Yuma Baptist Church with her son when she became unable to drive.

3 grandchildren: Laura McWilliams of Lancaster, KY, Aaron Marples of Campbellsville, KY and Joanne Jansen of Louisville, KY

3 great-grandchildren: Emily Mach and Sophia McWilliams of Lancaster, KY and Genevieve McWilliams of Texas

1 brother: Billy Rainwater (Bernice)

1 sister: Barbara Skaggs (Donald)

2 dear friends: Kay DeMurray & Shirley Murphy
